Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are critical seo metrics you need to track to analyze crucial areas in SEO campaign that is not doing well.
The managers of the company track KPIs to see which one will influence their company goals and make them more successful in the niche.
In this post, I will talk about 3 KPIs for Boosting your website/blog search rankings. What are the 3 Key Performance Indicators [KPIs]? Let’s find out what they are, shall we?
#1 Bounce Rate KPI
You can find the bounce rate in Google Analytics.
According to Google, A bounce is a single-page session on your site; bounce rate affects your site in two ways which are it can either reduce or increase.
Let’s look if the two effects can boost or diminish your site’s performance.

High Bounce Rate:
High Bounce rate depends on what your page is all about if your page requires that user carries out one more click further and they end up striking the backward button.
it is a bad bounce rate because you were looking for one or more activities to take place rather than them fleeing to the homepage and exit
Let’s take, for example – If I have a site that involves buyers to click on a text link after visiting the homepage and the buyers end up viewing only the homepage without clicking on the text links.
That’s a bounce, and it has altered my conversion, it means one thing, it means that my users did not see the text link, or I did not arrange the text link where they can discover it.
Here is how to lower bounce rates.
1: Engage users in the early section.
Create pages that have excellent user-friendly interface and design and make sure they present your point or message they desire to experience.
What did you promise to give or show your visitors? You should make the purpose clear about what it is and how to get it without beating around the bush.
2: Use of Internal linking.
Internal linking is good for SEO and also suitable for reducing your bounce rate.
So make sure you link your contents with other articles by hyper-linking texts that carry topic you have talked about on your blog.
Add related posts widget under and sidebar of your pages, the following plugins can help you add them without coding a line.
- Inline Related Posts plugin
- Jetpack Related post Feature
#2 Search Traffic KPI.
Search traffic can be found in Google Search Console under the subsection of search appearance.
In GSC search Traffic, you can find keywords that people used to visit top pages on your blog and keywords which you appear during searches even though you wrote nothing on them.
How does it affect your Websites ranking?
It affects the site in such a way that if you write articles on these related keywords, you appeared on search with; I am 99.9% certain you will rank better for it since it already has a relationship with your site, therefore, it will be easy rank for the keyword easily.
Now don’t jump just yet, you may need to do slight keyword research on them before writing articles on them, keyword research going to help you achieve a lot.
How to do keyword research?
Here is a video from LongTail Pro to help you understand better the concept of doing keyword research and also help you find long-tail keywords.
The tool can help your keyword research journey comfortable. However, below are other free tools that can help you do keyword research.

#3 Customer Satisfaction KPI.
Customer satisfaction is a subjective KPI you need to track for the growth of your site and business at large. Google Analytics alone won’t help the situation here.
However, using methods like email survey can make it easy to gather customer satisfaction and complaints to improve not only the websites UI but also sales experience.
What can you use for doing a survey?
An easy-to-use, a tool like SurveyMonkey can help you gather the information you need with much stress.
- Create a free account,
- Verify your account
- Create your Surveys and then generate a link and share it with your email subscribers to get an honest survey ever.
Those are the 3 Keypoint Indicators I have made use of on my old blog before moving here, and I hope that this article helps you increase your business website search ranking, Customer satisfaction, and UI.
Quick Guide.
- Build a website homepage to improve bounce rate.
- Create articles with clear goals by writing for quality and not the quantity to improve.
- Check always check your search traffic to increase SERPs and keep your visitors engaged.

Bounce rate is one of those key indicators BP. I have lowered mine by using a VPS to speed up my blog. Plus I have a simple, clean theme, free of distractions that could send people heading for the cyber hills. Rocking blog bro. I found you on my friend Janice Wald’s Mostly Blogging. Tweeted for you.
